Why Zonal Adminstration is silent when transfer committees not implementing the transfer policy properly?

Hundred of Trackmaintainers not working on track duties and working in officer’s bungalows and some at Divisional offices as “collection agents” of officers on passing contract bills.

Duties of Trackmaintainers working in Sr.DEN office, ADEN offices and other offices. Purely on recommendations and using influence, not working in Gangs.

The payment of wages and allowances would be totally illegal and same to recovered from concerned SSE(P.Way), ADEN, Sr.DEN/Co-ordination on issuing majority penalty for misutilizing the manpower.

Office staff only to be allowed in offices to work and Trackmaintainers has to send back to original place of posting to perform gang duties. Railway Minister to take serious action.

Contractors much more involving and protecting the long standing staff in Sr.DEN office dealing with measurement book (MB), Tenders/Contract bills section of Engineering department.

Principal Chief Engineer (PCE) not taking any action on Sr.DEN/Co-ordination for not implementing rotational transfers on corrupted officials to move the long standing to the way side stations.

Why GMs/SDGMs/PCPOs is silent when transfer comittees not implementing the transfer policy?

A senior officer say, If appropriate level of Railway Administration take the timely decision on rotation transfers and properly implement board’s directives, not only all types of corruption can be controlled but also reduce on passing contract bills and that will automatically improve the quality of contract work.

Supervisors were excluded staff to work round the clock with devotion to duty. Safety releated office bearers dedicate their service to trade unions having huge work load to play dual role.
